General Catering Assiatants

Full Time: 37.5 hours per week and 4 on 4 off 22.25 hours per week

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Location: Amazon EUK5 and EUK1 Peterborough PE2 9FT

Job Description

Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Take orders accurately and efficiently.
Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Utilize the point-of-sale system to process orders accurately.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, adhering to cash handling procedures.
Set up tables, chairs, and other dining areas before opening and arrange them appropriately.
Clean and sanitize tables, counters, and service areas regularly.
Ensure the café's cleanliness and tidiness by sweeping, mopping, and taking out rubbish.
Monitor and restock condiments, napkins, cutlery, and other supplies as needed.
Assist in monitoring inventory levels and report any shortages to the management.
Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Be aware of COSHH regulations and use appropriate protective equipment when using chemicals.
Adhering to dress code policies. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Assist team members when needed, such as running food or drinks to tables during busy periods.
Maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and cooperation.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe environment.
Follow proper hand hygiene procedures and maintain personal cleanliness.
Ensure the café is compliant with health and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

Full, UK driving licence (Desirable)
Level 2 Food Safety Qualification (Desirable)
Level 2 H & S Qualification (Desirable)
First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
