We're looking for a Sales Advisor to join Acorn's Pet Food in Colne.
Working hours are 32 hours per week on a two-week rota as follows:
Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:45am – 5:30pm, Saturday: 9:15am – 4:30pm
Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:45am – 5:30pm, Sunday: 10.45am – 3:00pm
Additional hours may be required to provide cover for staff holidays and other absences.
Acorn's Pet Food is an established retail store, open seven days a week and specialising in natural pet food. We also offer a full range of treats and accessories for dogs, cats, wild and exotic birds, poultry, small animals and fish.This role plays a vital part in the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy retail store.
Responsibilities include:
Providing excellent customer service.
Processing sales transactions.
Receiving and checking deliveries.
Merchandising and restocking the store as required.
Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be confident, trustworthy, hard-working and organised.
Forklift truck operation (full training provided) is required, along with some physical lifting.
Previous retail experience and an interest in animals would be advantageous, although enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are equally important.
Pay: From £12.90 per hour
