Summary
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team, based in Wakefield and covering our Yorkshire & North East region. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced business partner who is confident working within a matrix management structure and has experience using HR systems to deliver a high-quality, people-focused service.

What You’ll Do

Act as the first point of contact and trusted advisor for managers and employees across the Yorkshire & North East region.

Regular Travel to sites and regional offices around the Yorkshire & North East region

Provide advice and guidance on a full range of HR issues including employee relations, performance management, absence, and organisational change.

Partner with managers to support workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.

Coach and support managers to develop their people leadership skills.

Support recruitment and onboarding activities to attract and retain top talent.

Analyse HR data to identify trends and support decision making, ensuring accurate use and maintenance of HR systems.

Lead and contribute to regional and group-wide HR projects and initiatives.

Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to ensure a consistent and joined-up approach across the business.
What We’re Looking For
Skills and Experience
-
An established HR Business Partner ideally operating within a fast-paced, multi-site environment

Strong knowledge of Employment law
-
Experienced managing TUPE, redundancy and restructuring activity

Proven track record in leading change projects
-
Workforce planning
-
Commercial awareness.

Experience working in a matrix management structure.

Comfortable with data, and using HRIS
-
Experience of supporting managers through employee relations processes.

CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.

Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region.
