Handyman / Property Maintenance Operative – North London

We are a well-established estate agency operating across London and are looking for a reliable, experienced Handyman / Property Maintenance Operative to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of small and medium-sized property maintenance works across our managed portfolio, including:
- General property repairs and maintenance
- Painting and decorating
- Basic plumbing and electrical repairs (where qualified)
- Carpentry and fitting work
- Tiling and plaster repairs
- Kitchen and bathroom repairs
- Property refurbishments and renovations
- Preparing properties between tenancies
- Identifying and reporting any additional maintenance issues
Requirements
- Proven experience in general property maintenance or a similar role
- Ability to carry out a variety of repair and renovation tasks to a high standard
- Basic spoken and written English
- Good communication skills and the ability to report completed works and any issues back to the office
- A positive, reliable and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently
- Full UK driving licence preferred
