Trainee Assistant Paint Sprayer

Scope of the job is small to large water pumps and generators costing up to £150,000 in some cases, occasionally we repair vans and lorry’s we own and pre new for our fleet.

We act as an authorised dealer for FG Wilson branded products manufactured by Caterpillar and have been trading for over 40 years. The company provides full power packages which can include total design and installation services for customers. Providing high levels of customer care underlines everything that we do. We continue to develop through adapting to our customers’ requirements and ensuring that our Sales, Service and Operational activities provide the most suitable cost-effective solution. The business is continuing to expand and reach out to new customers. We provide power to large scale events such as Silverstone and Twickenham plus many more across the country. We operate out of four strategic locations throughout the UK.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Preparing equipment for spraying. Rubbing down and sanding
· Mixing paints using Non 2 Pack paint
· Masking up equipment
· Fitting new and or replacing removed parts pre painting
· Fixing labels stickers and decals
· Final pre delivery Inspection
· Working and assisting in our Spray Bay with full extraction equipment.
· Assisting with the respraying our own fleet of generators, pumps and associated equipment for rental and sales.
Desirable:
· Learning to do all the forgoing hands on a history of Paint shop spraying and welding would be an advantage, but not essential.
