Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Aluminium Fabricator to join our dynamic team based at Formes Alutek in Ellesmere Port. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming aluminium materials into precise, durable components through fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes. Your expertise will contribute to creating top-tier aluminium structures that meet client specifications and safety standards.
Duties
- Cut, shape, and assemble aluminium sheets and profiles using hand tools and tooling equipment
- Perform grinding, welding, and finishing tasks to ensure smooth surfaces and accurate dimensions
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to guide fabrication processes
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with sheet metal components during assembly
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety protocols
- Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to maintain high standards
- Assist in the installation of fabricated aluminium components on-site as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication, welding, grinding, or assembly of aluminium or sheet metal products
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in working with hand tools and tooling equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to metal fabrication environments
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines
- Basic understanding of assembly processes for aluminium structures

Experience is essential and rate of pay will be based on this. Hours are mon-fri 8-4.30pm
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
