Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Glazier/Driver to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass and glazing materials across various projects while also managing transportation of materials and tools to job sites. Your expertise will ensure high-quality craftsmanship combined with safe and efficient delivery operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing a broad skill set that includes glazing, driving, and general construction tasks. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, install, and repair glass panels, windows, doors, and storefronts with precision and care
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely to complete glazing tasks efficiently
- Load, unload, and secure glass materials and construction supplies for transportation to various sites
- Drive company vehicles responsibly to deliver materials and equipment while adhering to all safety regulations
- Assist with related construction activities such as roofing, masonry, plastering, carpentry, or painting as needed
- Read schematics and blueprints to accurately execute installation plans in accordance with project specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in glazing installation or repair within the construction industry
- Familiarity with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or masonry is highly desirable
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and construction-related machinery
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings for precise project execution
- Prior experience driving commercial vehicles or trucks used for transporting materials is preferred
- Knowledge of safety standards related to construction painting, fabrication, masonry, or roofing projects
- Strong work ethic with a focus on quality craftsmanship and timely project completion
