We're an independent Caribbean restaurant and bar in the heart of Leeds, serving bold, authentic food and great drinks in a vibrant, welcoming space. As we grow, we're building out our front-of-house and bar team and looking for friendly, reliable people who love hospitality and giving guests a brilliant experience.

What the job involves
Depending on your role and experience, you may be:
- Welcoming guests, seating them and creating a warm first impression
- Taking orders and serving food and drinks with genuine hospitality
- Making cocktails, pouring beers, wines and spirits to a consistent standard
- Knowing the menu and drinks list to confidently recommend and upsell
- Handling payments and operating the till/POS accurately
- Keeping the bar, floor and stations clean, stocked and service-ready
- Managing bookings, floor plans and service flow (supervisory roles)
- Stock control, ordering and cash handling (senior roles)
- Leading and training the team during service (senior roles)
- Working together to deliver a smooth, high-energy service
Skills & experience we value
- Experience in a bar, restaurant or hospitality setting (an advantage, but we'll train the right person)
- Great customer service and a friendly, confident manner
- Cocktail and bartending skills (for bar roles)
- Cash handling and POS/till experience
- Ability to stay calm, organised and upbeat during busy service
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Personal licence and knowledge of licensing/age-verification laws (for senior bar roles)
- Understanding of allergens and food safety
- Reliability, a strong work ethic and genuine passion for hospitality
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Right to work in the UK
- Must be 18+ for bar roles (serving alcohol)
