Director: Customer Delivery
Location: Telford (with travel as required)
We are an engineering business seeking an experienced and commercially minded Director of Customer Delivery to lead our Projects, Test & Validation and Customer Support functions. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in shaping business strategy whilst ensuring operational excellence across the entire customer journey.
This is not a role for someone who wants to lead from a distance. We're seeking a leader who can think strategically, make commercially sound decisions and develop high-performing teams, whilst also being prepared to get into the detail, challenge processes, solve problems and support teams in delivering results.
Working within a highly technical engineering environment, you'll be comfortable engaging with customers and senior level decision-makers, building trusted relationships and ensuring exceptional delivery standards
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across Projects, Test & Validation and Customer Support.
- Lead and develop a team of managers.
- Drive operational performance, efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and act as a senior escalation point.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Align departmental goals with wider business objectives and growth plans.

- Strong commercial awareness and customer-facing experience.
- A track record of improving performance, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
