About the Role:
The Senior Order Processor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient movement of customer orders from point of sale to final installation. You’ll be managing multiple streams of communication between departments, clients, and installation teams — ensuring deadlines are met and customer satisfaction is always front and centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage all customer orders from initial sale to completion
- Coordinate surveys and manage surveyor availability
- Organise and maintain the schedule of installations
- Liaise with fitting teams and ensure all materials and timelines are aligned
- Handle upselling opportunities at key stages of the customer journey
- Deliver strong negotiation and customer retention strategies
- Maintain regular communication with clients to manage expectations and confirm progress
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth delivery process
- Track and record progress through internal CRM systems (HubSpot experience a bonus)
- Manage QTRs and assess performance metrics to improve conversion and customer experience
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in an order processing or operations role within home improvements, construction, or similar industry
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Confidence in customer service, negotiation, and conflict resolution
- Experience coordinating teams and managing schedules
- Competent with digital systems and spreadsheets (Google Sheets, CRMs)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive mindset
