We are looking to appoint a Youth Project Supervisor, a key role needing passion, leadership and organisational skills, and a clear commitment to young people in this local but wide-ranging youth project.
The successful candidate will be a motivated and organised individual with the confidence to lead the existing 3 strong staff team and our volunteers delivering a variety of sessions across a range of settings including school-based activities, youth clubs, support activities for young people, residentials and trips, for predominately 11-18year olds within Horbury and the surrounding areas.
Must have a team ethic, be able to work flexible hours, have a great sense of humour, be enthusiastic supporting young people to have fun, learn and succeed, manage challenges, and celebrate achievements, whilst ensuring a safe young person-centred environment.
Applicants should be sympathetic towards the Christian Ethos of the organisation.
Experience- Candidates should have relevant youth work qualifications and will need both supervisory experience and have worked with young people.
Candidates must be able to travel to different venues in the local area
Driving licence - would be advantageous.
This is a job opportunity with prospects and provides developmental training to build on your existing personal, supervisory and youth work experience.
