We are seeking a skilled Labourer with basic carpentry skills to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various trades, including roofing, and first fix carpentry. Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction tasks across multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing and general labourer tasks.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
- Support the installation, repair, and maintenance of structures and fixtures on-site.
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment or materials.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Assist with fabrication tasks as required, including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry or related construction trades such as roofing, masonry.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools competently.
- Basic knowledge of fabrication processes is advantageous.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various construction environments.
- Relevant safety certifications or willingness to undertake safety training is preferred.
Pay: £100.00-£130.00 per day
