Marketing Manager

Storage Centre Wales is seeking a commercially driven Marketing Manager to lead the development of new markets, customers and commercial opportunities across its two South Wales locations.
This is a broad, growth-focused role combining marketing, business development, market research, customer acquisition, commercial partnerships and revenue development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities for the business to grow, developing strategies to pursue those opportunities and using effective marketing and business development activity to convert them into measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Growth
- ü The Development Marketing Manager will develop and implement business development strategies designed to increase the company's customer base, market presence and revenue across both locations. They will actively identify new markets, customer groups and commercial opportunities and assess their potential value to the business.
ü The role will involve researching opportunities for expanding existing services, developing new commercial propositions and identifying additional sources of revenue. The Marketing Manager will work closely management and business sales executives to turn viable opportunities into practical development plans.
ü They will also identify opportunities to increase customer retention, repeat business, referrals and customer lifetime value, while continually looking for ways to strengthen the company's overall commercial performance.
ü The Marketing Manager will conduct research into local, regional and sector-specific markets to understand customer demand, purchasing behaviour and emerging trends. They will identify underserved customer groups, new geographical markets and industries that could benefit from the company's services.
ü They will identify opportunities for corporate accounts, recurring business and commercial partnerships across storage, removals, rental, vehicle sales and vehicle leasing. They will also develop relationships with businesses and organisations that could generate referrals or introduce new customers.
ü The Marketing Manager will monitor customer feedback, market trends and changing customer requirements to identify opportunities to improve the company's products, services and marketing propositions.
ü They will identify opportunities to package services together and develop cross-selling opportunities between the company's storage, removal and rental operations. They will also explore ways of presenting services to different customer groups and developing propositions specifically for commercial customers.
ü The Marketing Manager will proactively search for new commercial opportunities across both locations. They will investigate potential new markets, customer groups, services and partnerships and assess their commercial potential.
Overall Objective
The primary objective of the Development Marketing Manager is to develop the business through new markets, new customers, commercial partnerships and revenue opportunities.
The role combines marketing with business development and requires the successful candidate to continually identify where the company can grow, determine how those opportunities can be reached and develop practical strategies to turn them into measurable commercial results.
The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the customer base, strengthening the company's position in South Wales and supporting the long-term growth of Storage Centre Wales across its Cardiff and Merthyr Tydfil operations.

Pay: £34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
