Job Overview:
As a Junior/Mid-Level Business Analyst, you will work closely with senior analysts, stakeholders, and project teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support strategic decision-making. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for problem-solving, strong analytical thinking, and a desire to grow in a dynamic IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Documentation:
- Elicit, gather, and document business requirements from stakeholders across various departments
- Ensure requirements are accurate, complete, and aligned with business objectives
Process Analysis & Reporting:
- Perform business process analysis to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and documentation (BRDs, FRDs, user stories) to support project delivery
- Assist in generating business recommendations to support decision-making
Solution Design & Support:
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validating that delivered solutions meet business needs
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work with cross-functional teams (business, IT, and project management) to understand and prioritize business needs
- Present findings, recommendations, and process improvements in a clear, concise manner to stakeholders
Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on business analysis methodologies, tools, and industry trends
- Support senior analysts in advanced business analysis and strategic projects
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of professional experience in business analysis, IT, or a related field (fresh graduates with strong academic or internship projects welcome to apply)
- Technical Skills:
- Exposure to the financial domain is a plus, not required
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data querying and validation
- Familiarity with Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Exposure to process modeling or diagramming tools (Visio, Lucidchart) is a plus
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies (optional but beneficial)
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Communication: Ability to explain business requirements and recommendations clearly
- Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to grow in a fast-paced IT environment
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):
- Internship or academic projects involving business or process analysis
- Familiarity with project management concepts
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or ERP/CRM systems

Pay: £32,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
