We're looking for a payment processor, based at our headquarters at Baillieston, Glasgow.
About The Company:
Mealzo is one of the UK's largest hospitality services provider. Our financial arm Moneos deals with all the payments. You will be in the Moneos team.
We work with clients across the hospitality industry, providing them with high tech systems (such as EPOS, self ordering kiosks and PDQ card machines) to accurately manage their day to day businesses in-store and online.
Our clients range from national franchises down to your local family run businesses.
Due to our continued growth in Scotland's central belt and beyond, we require an additional payment processor to keep up with our ever growing business.
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, such as managing payments, answering customer queries by phone and email, initiating refunds, investigating fraudulent activity and other financial related tasks alongside an experienced team of colleagues and patented artificial intelligence systems.
Duties of our payment processor role include:
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Analyse all payments paid out to our partners, on a weekly basis.
- Research and make sure all credit issued is correct by our artificial intelligence system
- Attending meetings with head of department to discuss further plans and changes
- Entering all required data for processing information.
- Updating the CRM system regularly with daily activity records.
- Answering questions sent in by email and phone.
- Providing assistance to other members of the payment processing team.
- Following up on leads generated by other departments.
- Investigating and resolving queries from partners customers.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Our perfect candidate would preferably have the following skills and abilities :
- Ability to work 37.5 Hours a week minimum.
- Previous experience of payment processing or analysing financial data.
- Basic understanding of computers and their inner workings.
- A desire to learn and expand their knowledge.
- Team players but can self manage and plan alone when needed.
- Hard workers, ability to stay overtime when tasks demand.
- Keeping company assets in clean working order (Your very own MacBook Pro)
