£25,000 starting salary rising to £26,000 after training period

We are one of the UK’s leading fundraising consultancies, and we’re looking for a driven Business Development Officer to help us to increase our client base by strengthening the relationships we have with existing and potential clients.
What you’ll do:
· Build lasting relationships with schools through regular phone contact and online Teams meetings
· Showcase innovative fundraising solutions that help our clients achieve their goals.
· Shape opportunities by providing crucial information for proposals and tenders.
· Be the connector between our clients and project delivery teams, ensuring smooth handovers and long-term success.
· Grow your own portfolio of clients to account-manage, nurture, and expand.
· Represent Buffalo at conferences and meet others who are passionate about education and fundraising.
About you:
· You’re a strong communicator who thrives on building relationships.
· Confident on the phone and in online/face-to-face meetings.
· Motivated, determined, and ready to learn.
· Sales or account management experience is a bonus, but enthusiasm and a good work ethic are just as important.
