Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Leader to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food service, and the ability to manage a team effectively. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during shifts, ensuring efficient service.
- Assist with food safety compliance, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Manage team members, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure timely serving of food and beverages, maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Handle customer queries or complaints professionally, aiming for swift resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas throughout the shift.
- Support in training new staff members on operational procedures and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, or serving roles.
- Supervising experience or team management skills within a hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Previous experience in culinary roles such as chef assistant or barista is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication skills with a professional attitude towards both staff and customers.
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
