Nursing Home - Wellbeing Companion ( Fixed term - 6 months, Short Shifts )
Working Hours: Part-time, 6-hour shifts, 8am - 2pm or 2pm - 8pm, including weekends
Rate of Pay: £13.00/hour

Job Role:
We are seeking candidates interested in a hospitality-focused position that allows for a creative and dynamic approach to work. In this role, you will be involved in food and beverage service, assist with group activities and have opportunities to participate in group outings and organise community events within the home. About the Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate who will:
- Develop friendly and respectful relationships with Residents.
- Create a stimulating environment for Residents, ensuring there is always some form of engagement.
- Work under the guidance of Wellbeing Coordinator to enable Residents to maintain their well-being by ensuring that their social and leisure needs are met according to their individual care plans, habits and lifestyles.
- Host daily events and their allocated clubs under the direction of Wellbeing Coordinator.
- Assist in outings and entertainment, seasonal celebrations, social events, as well as individual celebrations pertaining to special days in Residents’ lives.
- Monitor safety of the Residents and maintains up to date records.
- Create a welcoming and professional mealtime experience.
- Be responsible for welcoming visitors, providing refreshments and ensuring all guests feel looked after.
- Promote Whole Home Approach and works along the care staff to provide meaningful interactions with Residents.
- Uphold the reputation of Home and Cedar Care Homes.
