Quality Inspectors - RLC Ronaldsway (Contract basis)
RLC Ronaldsway is a world-class provider of components and services to the aerospace industry. Located on the Isle of Man, we are seeking experienced Quality Inspectors to support our daily operations.
You will verify product conformance to strict aerospace design specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory frameworks. As a contractor, you must be a self-starter who can immediately perform complex dimensional, visual, and documentation inspections with zero ramp-up time
Key Responsibilities

In-Process Inspection: Conducting regular checks and first-offs on parts during live production runs.

Component Measuring: Perform visual and dimensional checks against drawings and BSI standards.

Inbound Validation: Inspect raw materials and parts arriving at the facility.

Problem Solving: Support root-cause analysis for defects using 3C, 5Y, and 8D methods.

Audit Support: Assist with internal quality audits to maintain aerospace accreditations.

Cross-Functional Support: Provide flexible inspection coverage across various production areas.

Health & Safety: Work strictly within company H&S guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
What You Need
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the suitable candidate must have:
Experience: Proven, hands-on quality inspection experience within an aerospace manufacturing or engineering environment.
Technical Skills: Flawless ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.
IT Literacy: Basic Microsoft Office skills for data logging and shop floor documentation (facility-specific ERP systems training provided).
Problem-Solving Mechanics: Practical familiarity with root-cause analysis tools (3C, 5Y, 8D).
Contract Readiness: Independent contractor mindset with the flexibility to cover cross-functional departments under minimal supervision
