Key Responsibilities
- Provide Consultant-level clinical services within the relevant specialty.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in line with NHS and Trust guidelines.
- Participate in outpatient clinics, ward rounds, MDT meetings, and on-call rotas where required.
- Supervise junior doctors and support multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and compliant patient records.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and service improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to GMC standards and NHS best practices.
Essential Requirements
- Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register (or eligibility where applicable)
- Previous NHS experience is essential
- Valid Right to Work in the UK
- Up-to-date Mandatory Training and DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong clinical knowledge within the relevant specialty
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Consultant within the NHS.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Experience in teaching, supervision, or clinical leadership.
Pay: £90.00-£120.00 per hour
