Summary
We are seeking a part time passionate and friendly Barista to join our expanding team at Honey+Harvey in Melton/Rendlesham. As a key member of our café, you will craft exceptional coffee and deliver outstanding service, contributing to our reputation for excellence and community spirit.
We are looking for a part time team member with regular weekly shifts, 8-36 hours working various shifts across 7 days.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages with precision and care.
- Ensure all food safety standards are maintained to provide a safe environment for customers.
- Assist in food preparation and maintain cleanliness of the café.
- Deliver friendly and efficient service to all customers.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the team in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the café’s offerings and customer experience.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar role within a specialty coffee shop.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Effective time management abilities.
- Passion for coffee and hospitality.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
