As a Preschool Bank Staff member, you’ll be a vital part of our flexible team, stepping in to provide high-quality care and education whenever needed. You’ll be the friendly face that reassures children, the encouraging voice that inspires them, and the extra pair of hands that keeps our days running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging, inspiring age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in line with EYFS standards.
- Build positive relationships with children and colleagues.
- Follow daily routines, including snack preparation, outdoor play, and tidy-up time.
- Support children’s emotional well-being, encouraging independence and confidence.
- Adhere to all safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality policies.
What You'll Bring
- A recognised Level 2 or higher qualification in Early Years childcare and education.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, sometimes at short notice.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Knowledge of EYFS framework and safeguarding best practices.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
