Salary: S01 - S02 (£35,571- £40,446 pro-rata, £32,540 - £37,000 actual per year)

The Herewoode Academy are looking to appoint a talented Senior Designated Safeguarding Lead to join a warm and compassionate environment where every staff member makes a significant contribution to the experience of our students.
You will be the main point of contact for safeguarding and welfare concerns for both students, staff and external stakeholders, and will lead the Safeguarding Team. You will also be responsible for providing effective welfare support to students.
The Trust and school are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check in line with DfE requirements.
