Job overview
We're looking for an experienced Plumbing and Heating Engineer who can cover all areas of the trade — domestic installs, project work and everything in between. This is a hands-on role with genuine variety: one week you could be on a domestic heating install, the next working through a multi-plot development or a larger site.
We want someone with strong all-round plumbing and heating skills who can take ownership of a job from first fix through to commissioning, work independently, and step up to lead on site when needed.
What you'll be doing
- Installing and servicing plumbing and heating systems
- Full plumbing installations — first and second fix, pipework, bathrooms, and associated works
- Boiler installs, servicing and controls
- Heat pump installations
- Project and new-build work, including multi-dwelling and development sites
- Working to current gas, heating and building regulations at all times
- Keeping accurate records of work completed and materials used
What we're looking for
- Proven all-round plumbing and heating experience
- Relevant gas qualifications and certifications
- Confident across the full range of work, from single installs to larger projects
- Experience with heat pumps and renewables is an advantage
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, without cutting corners on safety
- Well organised, with good attention to detail on both installs and maintenance
- A valid UK driving licence
Requirements
You'll need your own tools, and if you're working on a self-employed or subcontract basis, your own insurances including public liability.
A genuine opportunity for a capable engineer who wants steady, varied work with a contractor that takes quality seriously.
