We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Care Assistant to join our friendly team, working 24 hours per weekend (Saturday and Sunday nights).
About the Role
As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care throughout the night. You will support residents with their individual needs while promoting their independence, dignity and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support in accordance with individual care plans.
- Promote and maintain residents' dignity, privacy, independence and choice at all times.
- Support residents' physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual wellbeing.
- Carry out regular wellbeing and safety checks throughout the night.
- Accurately complete care records and other required documentation.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to residents' needs and emergency situations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively during handovers.
- Build positive relationships with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a professional, caring and compassionate approach at all times.
