Cygnets Art School Esher is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and reliable new Assistant Teacher to help run our classes! Please read all information carefully, as this is a part-time, freelance position and may not suit everyone.
Cygnets is a fine art school franchise for children (ages 5-13), teaching traditional drawing, painting, and sculpture using professional materials. Classes run after school and weekends during term time, plus holidays.
Role: Assist the teacher during term-time and holiday classes at the Esher branch, with groups of up to 16 students. Assist with occasional marketing activities such as flyering local schools.
Hours:
- Term time: Saturdays 1 - 2pm
- Holidays: Various half term and school holidays
Pay: £13/hr (includes preparation and cleanup time)
Location: Lower Green Community Centre, Esher KT10 8AU
Requirements:
- Strong artistic skills, particularly drawing and painting
- Passion for working with children
- Reliability and good organization
- (Preferred) assistant teacher experience
