Overview:
We have an excellent opportunity for an individual to join our Facilities team. The role will be covering a variety of mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing repairs to facilities, machinery and equipment across our site based in Bracknell. We are looking for somebody that has a strong electrical or plumbing background and the desire to increase their knowledge across a range of areas within a supportive environment.
The role operates Monday to Friday on a 40 hour contract. This role includes an on call rota, 1 in 3 weeks on call shared across the technician team (additional payment for on call).

Responsibilities:
- Aid in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs on systems, equipment and general facilities in assigned areas

Complete basic adjustments/repairs/modifications on existing equipment/systems or install new systems/equipment as necessary

Assure adequate supply levels to support maintenance function related to assigned areas/projects

Ensure completion of mechanical/general building system equipment repairs and services in response to employee generated service requests
Qualifications:
- Certified electrical or plumbing qualification is required
Experience and Skills

Demonstrated understanding of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and technical aspects of building maintenance typically acquired through relevant experience

Worked in commercial or in a similar environment

Skilled in problem solving/troubleshooting.

Able to demonstrate knowledge of the necessary building permit system and the construction permit inspection process as applicable
