We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Hotel Manager to work alongside the Hotel Manager, supporting the day-to-day running of the hotel while playing a key role in driving standards, performance and guest experience.
A major part of the role will be working closely with our Heads of Department and being the go-to operational support for teams across the hotel. You will be hands-on, visible and proactive, leading from the front and helping ensure the operation runs smoothly, particularly during busy periods.
Your role will be pivotal in motivating teams, maintaining standards and ensuring our guests consistently receive a great experience. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their hospitality career and join a growing hotel group.
Requirements of the Role
Working alongside the Hotel Manager, you will support the overall day-to-day operation of the hotel and work closely Senior Management and Heads of Department to support our food and beverage offering. You will be a visible, hands-on presence throughout the hotel, particularly during busy services and events, helping teams solve problems and ensuring standards are maintained.
You will lead, train and develop colleagues across departments while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness and presentation throughout the property. The role will also involve supporting recruitment, rotas and stock control, while helping to drive revenue, improve efficiency and contribute to the profitability of the hotel. Building strong relationships with our regular guests and local customers will also be an important part of the role.
You will be a great fit if you have proven experience in a hands-on hospitality management role and strong operational knowledge, with the confidence to lead teams on the floor in a fast-paced environment. You will have good commercial awareness, understand the importance of controlling costs and be able to identify opportunities to improve performance and grow the business.
