About the role
Are you an organised and proactive professional who can help keep a busy clinical service on track?
We're looking for a proactive, adaptable and highly organised individual to join our Paediatrics team as a Clinical Secretarial Coordinator. This is far more than a traditional secretarial role. We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, takes initiative and is always ready to step in and support wherever needed.
As a key member of the team, you'll provide high quality administrative, business support and secretarial services to patients, Consultants, Associate Specialists and the wider Paediatrics team. Acting as a central point of coordination, you'll help ensure clinical activity runs efficiently, workloads are managed effectively and communication flows seamlessly across the service.
No two days are the same. You'll oversee complex diaries, clinic schedules, waiting lists and patient correspondence, coordinate referrals and support the smooth running of patient pathways. You'll play a pivotal role in organising and supporting multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, ensuring actions are tracked, outcomes are communicated and services remain joined up and responsive.
The role also includes supporting and guiding Clinical Secretaries and administrative colleagues, helping to foster a collaborative, efficient and patient focused service. You'll build strong relationships, identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the ongoing development of the service.
We're looking for someone who is savvy, flexible and eager to learn; someone who embraces new challenges, develops their skills and enjoys being at the heart of a busy and rewarding environment. If you're a natural problem-solver, confident managing competing priorities and motivated by making things happen, we'd love to hear from you.
In return, you'll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge, broaden your experience and become a valued member of a team that makes a real difference to children, young people and their families every day.
Join a team where your organisation and initiative can make a real difference every day. Apply now!
