As a Team Lead, you'll combine scientific leadership, people management, and operational oversight to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality bioanalytical studies. Leading a team of Scientists and Senior Scientists, you'll be responsible for creating an environment where individuals can thrive, develop their expertise, and consistently deliver excellent results for clients.
You'll oversee the delivery of ADA, PK, and Biomarker studies within a regulated GLP/GCP environment, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to the highest quality standards. Acting as a Study Director, Principal Investigator, or Analytical Project Manager where required, you'll provide both scientific and strategic direction while maintaining strong relationships with sponsors and stakeholders.
What will you be doing?

Lead and develop a team of Scientists and Senior Scientists

Oversee the delivery of ADA/PK/Biomarker studies

Act as a Study Director/PI/Analytical Project Manager for GLP/GCP studies

Plan resources, schedule projects and ensure timely delivery

Mentor Project Managers and drive overall team performance

Support the Business Development team with proposals and new opportunities

Take ownership of revenue, forecasting and invoicing

Maintain SOPs and ensure regulatory compliance at all times (GLP/GCP)
This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys developing people, driving performance, and balancing scientific excellence with commercial awareness. You'll play a key role in shaping the success of the team, contributing to business growth, and championing continuous improvement across operations.
In this role, you will build strong client relationships and ensure excellent communication both internally and externally at all times.
You'll also have:
- Strong, proven experience in Immunoassay Bioanalysis (ADA/PK/Biomarkers)

Extensive leadership and management experience, ideally within a CRO, Pharma or Biotech setting

Proven track record of managing and delivering regulated studies

A strong understanding of GLP/GCP and bioanalytical requirements

Excellent organisational, communication and commercial skills

Your leadership will help ensure high-quality data is delivered to clients, projects are executed efficiently, and colleagues are supported to achieve their full potential.
