Role Summary:
The Digital Shelf plays a critical role in how shoppers discover, assess and purchase Haleon brands online. We are looking for a Europe Digital Shelf Analyst to improve traffic, visibility and conversion across focus dComm retailers in European markets. Working with Local Digital Shelf Managers, Regional Marketing and Sales teams, Retail Media, Commercial teams and external partners, this role will lead future focused Digital Shelf strategy and support consistent execution across content, search, ratings and reviews, availability, visibility and performance reporting. The role will use data, digital shelf tools and AI-enabled ways of working to identify opportunities, scale best practice and help markets improve Product Detail Pages, brand stores, taxonomy, site search and priority SKUs.
- Lead the design and delivery of the Pan-European Digital Shelf strategy across priority retailers, markets and brands
- Coordinate with agency partners and market teams to improve PDP compliance, premium content, search optimisation and ratings and reviews execution.
- Track digital shelf performance across content completeness, search placement, share of page, availability visibility, ratings and reviews and overall digital shelf health.
- Partner with Retail Media, Commercial and Marketing teams to define keyword priorities, improve organic search placement and support high-converting landing pages.
- Run structured test-and-learn activity, including A/B testing where available, to improve traffic, conversion and shopper experience.
- Own product content governance and syndication: Act as the owner of product information within the PIM, ensuring a single source of truth for titles, descriptions, attributes, images and compliance data, while managing the flow of accurate content to retailers and marketplaces (Amazon, Brandbank, GS1, etc.) to maximise visibility, findability and conversion.
- Implement PIM processes, train stakeholders, monitor data quality, and optimise digital shelf performance through governance and reporting.
- Lead agency relationships to run customer and market audits to identify actions that improve PDP quality, taxonomy, site search, visibility and conversion.
- Analyse competitor activity, retailer algorithms, content execution and market trends, sharing practical recommendations with key stakeholders.
- Track ratings, reviews and consumer sentiment to identify recurring themes and feed actionable insights into Brand, Commercial and market teams.
- Pioneer the use of AI tools to automate recurring reporting, performance summaries and market-level digital shelf insights.
- Use AI-enabled workflows to identify content gaps, keyword opportunities, review themes and execution risks across regional markets.
- Build scalable templates, dashboards and process improvements that reduce manual effort and enable faster action by local teams.
- Digital shelf and SEO optimisation across product titles, descriptions, PDPs, brand stores, taxonomy and site search.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret digital shelf, retailer and commercial data and turn insights into practical actions.
- Good understanding of how Retail Media, Digital Shelf and eCommerce commercial levers connect to drive visibility, conversion and brand growth.
- Hands-on experience with digital shelf tools, content management systems, large data sets and AI-powered productivity tools would be advantageous.
- Communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Curious, proactive and comfortable creating new ways of working in a fast-moving digital commerce environment.
- Self-starter with strong planning, prioritisation and learning agility.
- Experience working with digital shelf tools, retailer data, content metrics or large data sets to support continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English is required; working proficiency in another core European language such as French, German, Spanish or Italian would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of marketplaces, 1P and 3P selling models, and pureplay retailer environments would be advantageous.
