CleneHaven is recruiting dependable cleaners to support a growing number of commercial and short-let clients in Cambridge and the surrounding area.
Regular turnover cleans for Airbnb and short-let properties are available, alongside weekly and fortnightly commercial contracts and occasional deep-cleaning or move-in/move-out opportunities.
This position is ideal for an experienced cleaner who takes pride in their work and wants to build regular local cleaning work around their availability.
Assignments may be available across Cambridge and nearby areas. Cleaners can confirm the locations they are willing to travel to before accepting work.
Duties
Cleaning duties may include:
- Dusting and polishing surfaces
- Vacuuming carpets and flooring
- Mopping hard floors
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
- Cleaning bedrooms and communal areas
- Changing and remaking beds between guests
- Restocking guest essentials and consumables
- Emptying household waste
- Following property-specific cleaning instructions and guest-ready standards
- Reporting any issues, damage or missing items identified during the clean
- Completing cleaning photographs or checklists where required
Some properties may require additional services such as interior windows, laundry management or deeper cleaning between longer stays. These requirements will be explained before an assignment is accepted.
Requirements
We are looking for applicants who:
- Have previous domestic or commercial cleaning experience
- Provide a consistently high standard of work
- Are punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Can work confidently without direct supervision
- Have good attention to detail
- Can communicate professionally
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Can travel reliably to clients within their selected area
- Can accommodate quick turnaround times between guest stays, where required
A driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred, particularly for assignments outside central Cambridge, but are not essential for every property.

This is a self-employed opportunity. Cleaners remain responsible for managing their self-employed obligations and may accept or decline assignments based on their availability.
