About the Role
Innstay, a specialist AV and technology company, is seeking a dynamic and people-oriented Team Manager to lead our growing team. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations across technical, support, and business development functions. A strong background in asset management and planning is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Overall
· Lead and support a multidisciplinary team, promoting clear communication and effective collaboration.
· Manage daily operations and coordinate workloads across technical, support, and commercial departments.
· Ensure consistent implementation of company processes and procedures.
· Monitor team performance, deliver constructive feedback, and support ongoing professional development.
· Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and resolve operational challenges.
· Oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
· Champion a positive, organised, and accountable workplace culture.
· Establish and maintain robust internal reporting and communication systems.
Asset Tracking & Planning
- Plan and schedule engineer workloads, installations, maintenance visits and equipment removals.
- Coordinate assets and stock to ensure engineers have the right equipment at the right time.
- Maintain accurate asset, stock and customer records using our management systems.
- Track equipment across depots, engineers, customer sites and Head Office.
- Monitor stock levels and arrange replenishment where required.
- Produce engineer schedules and respond quickly to changing priorities.
- Work closely with engineers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Monitor jobs from booking through to completion, keeping systems and records up to date.
- Produce operational reports and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service.
- Help ensure excellent customer service through effective planning, organisation and communication.
What Success Looks Like
- Accurate asset and stock control.
- Engineers scheduled efficiently with high productivity.
- Installations and service work completed within agreed timescales.
- Well-organised planning with minimal equipment loss or stock discrepancies.
- Excellent service delivered to both customers and colleague
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in team management or operational coordination, preferably in a B2B role.
- Proven experience in Asset Management & Planning.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated success in implementing and sustaining business processes.
- Adaptable and hands-on approach, suited to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
