Shoots is a specialist planting company delivering premium interior and exterior planting installations for residential, commercial and hospitality clients across London and the South East. From office planting and rooftop gardens to bespoke residential landscapes, we design, supply and install planting solutions that transform spaces.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Planting Installation & Design Manager to lead projects from concept through to completion.
The Role
This is a hands-on management role combining planting design, project planning and installation management. You'll be responsible for designing planting schemes, carrying out site surveys, preparing quotations and installation plans, sourcing plants and materials, and overseeing installation teams to ensure every project is delivered to an exceptional standard.
You'll play a key role in maintaining Shoots' reputation for quality, creativity and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and client consultations.
- Design bespoke planting schemes for commercial and residential spaces.
- Select suitable plants, trees, shrubs, planters and landscaping materials.
- Prepare planting plans, material schedules and project specifications.
- Produce quotations and assist with project planning.
- Coordinate plant sourcing, supplier orders and deliveries.
- Schedule and manage installation teams.
- Oversee planting installations from start to finish.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Carry out quality inspections during and after installation.
- Resolve site issues and adapt planting designs where required.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors.
- Support the ongoing development of Shoots' planting services.
Requirements
- Experience in planting, landscaping, horticulture or garden design.
- Experience managing landscaping or planting installation projects.
- Strong plant knowledge and an eye for design.
- Ability to produce planting plans and specifications.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
