Purpose of the Role
To deliver high quality domestic and commercial cleaning services to Clean Slate clients, including deep cleans, decluttering and organising, in line with company checklists and standards. The role requires someone who takes genuine pride in their work, is non-judgemental with clients and their homes, and can work independently once trained.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled domestic and commercial cleans to a high standard
- Complete deep cleans as required, including kitchens and bathrooms
- Support clients with decluttering and organising spaces
- Follow client specific checklists and cleaning systems accurately
- Vacuum, mop, dust and maintain cleanliness throughout each property
- Work independently once trained, and occasionally alongside other team members
- Communicate clearly with the owner regarding scheduling, client needs or issues
- Approach every home and client without judgement, maintaining professionalism and respect regardless of the condition of the property
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns observed in client properties
Person Specification
Essential:
- Genuine interest in cleaning and organising, not just willingness to do the work
- Non-judgemental attitude towards clients and their homes
- Strong attention to detail and high personal standards
- Reliable, honest and trustworthy
- Comfortable working independently once trained
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Able to communicate clearly, including when requesting support or adjustments
Desirable:
- Previous cleaning experience (domestic or commercial)
- Experience with decluttering or home organisation
What Clean Slate Offers
Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
