Full-Time Support Workers - Pay: £13.90 per hour + £75 per sleep-in
Hours: Full-time, including shared sleep-in duties
Waking Hours: 07:00–22:00 £13.90
Night Hours: 22:00 - 07:00 £14.50

Support Worker Overview
We are seeking Support Workers to provide support to individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Complex Needs, and Challenging Behaviours.
FULL DISCLOSURE - This role is incredibly rewarding and a lot of fun! Our current team are one of a kind. We now need to find a few more really unique and talented individuals to join them! But we need to be completely open and transparent to ensure that only the right candidates apply. We are seeking very specific skills - The people who need your support are 2:1, 3:1 and 4:1. In this role you are highly likely to be required to keep people safe through use of trained physical intervention techniques. There is a high chance of being witness to physical aggression as well as self harm behaviours (don't worry we provide all training)
This role involves supporting people in a supported living environment and within the community.
Support Workers will help individuals with daily living tasks, communication, personal care, routines, and meaningful activities, while always promoting independence, dignity, and choice. A key part of the role is understanding each person’s triggers, preferred communication style, and support strategies, and responding in a calm, consistent, and person‑centred way.
Experience is helpful but not essential — full training, including behaviour support approaches, will be provided.
Duties
- Personal Care
- Medication administration
- Cooking meals
- Help with mobility and transfer activities as needed
- Supporting social activities and to access social events
- Implement behavioural management strategies
- Provide emotional support to promote mental wellbeing
- Household chores
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as required
- Monitor health conditions as per support plans
Skills
- Experience in supported living for adults with complex needs is preferred, including backgrounds in Challenging behaviour and supporting individuals who may self harm.
- Ability to perform first aid and respond effectively in emergencies
- Medication management
- Meal preparation
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a patient-centred approach to care
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility support
- Valid driving licence for transportation duties is desirable but not mandatory
