We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join the team at Hogan’s Cider. This is a hands-on role within our warehouse, supporting the day-to-day movement and despatch of our cider.
You will be responsible for picking and preparing customer orders, packing and wrapping pallets ready for delivery, kegging and packaging cider and supporting the team. This role offers the opportunity to learn about the cider-making and packaging process, giving you the chance to develop your knowledge and experience within our production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Picking and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently
Deliveries
Packing pallets for despatch
Building and wrapping pallets securely
Loading and unloading deliveries
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
Moving stock safely around the warehouse and production areas
Following all health and safety procedures
Learning and developing an understanding of cider-making and packaging processes
We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Comfortable with a hands-on role
Able to comfortably handle loads of up to 60kg
Organised with excellent attention to detail
A strong team player who enjoys working as part of an established, hardworking team
Willing to learn new skills and take an interest in the cider making process
Able to work independently and use initiative
Must hold a valid UK driving licence
A current Forklift Truck licence is desirable, but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate
Previous warehouse or production experience would be an advantage.
Hours
The role will initially be 3 days per week, Monday to Wednesday, 8.30am until 4.30pm with the potential for additional hours in the future. Due to our rural location, it is essential that you have a driving license.
