Kratos Security, operating in Dumfries and the surrounding areas, is seeking motivated and passionate qualified individuals to take on a variety of tasks. We offer flexible working hours, including both day and night shifts, available seven days a week. We value transparency, openness, and honesty, enabling us to accommodate your preferred hours as much as possible. Pay rates are based on loyalty, experience, and motivation: ranging from £14 to £15.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Greet and manage access for visitors, staff, contractors, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy
- Conduct thorough surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to monitor activity and identify potential security threats
- Implement loss prevention measures by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by following established protocols, including providing first aid if necessary
- Perform regular visual inspections of entrances, exits, and surrounding areas to ensure safety standards are maintained
- Complete detailed shift reports, incident logs, and CCTV footage documentation accurately and promptly
- Enforce site policies and procedures to uphold a secure environment while maintaining a positive atmosphere
Qualifications
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license as a Door Supervisor or eligible for licensing
- Experience in surveillance, CCTV operation, or loss prevention is highly desirable
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including basic first aid certification
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious activity quickly
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor under pressure
- Ability to stand, walk, or remain stationary for extended periods during shifts
