Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Builder to join our construction team. This role involves supporting various building projects, from initial groundwork to finishing touches, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. The successful candidate will have a proactive attitude, be physically fit, and possess a range of construction skills to contribute effectively across multiple trades.

Duties
- Assisting with site preparation, including clearing and organising materials
- Carrying out general building tasks
- Supporting roofing operations, including installation and repairs
- Performing construction painting to prepare surfaces for finishing
- Conducting masonry work, including bricklaying and concrete mixing
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or related trades is essential.
- NVQ Level 3 essential.
- Practical knowledge of carpentry, roofing, , masonry, welding, fabrication, and use of hand and power tools is essential
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical fitness to undertake manual labour throughout the working day
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Awareness of health and safety regulations on construction sites
- Valid full, clean UK driving licence is essential to role
