We are looking for a skilled and experienced gas, plumbing and maintenance engineer to join our team, covering residential properties across Nottingham and Derby.
This is a varied reactive maintenance role, with the main focus on plumbing, heating, gas, and general property maintenance. The successful candidate will be confident working independently, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and completing work to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Plumbing & Heating
- Install, maintain, service, and repair domestic plumbing and heating systems.
- Carry out boiler servicing, repairs, and breakdown diagnostics.
- Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and other plumbing faults.
- Work on radiators, heating systems, underfloor heating, and unvented hot water systems.
- Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Identify faults and provide practical and effective solutions.
- Ensure all gas and heating works are completed safely and in accordance with relevant regulations.
General Maintenance
- Carry out reactive maintenance and repairs within residential properties.
- Diagnose general property maintenance issues and complete appropriate repairs.
- Complete a variety of day-to-day maintenance tasks as required.
- Identify issues that require further attention and communicate these clearly.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
- Maintain a professional and tidy working environment while on site.
Skills
- Gas safe registered
- G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems Qualification
- 3 – 5 years minimum experience in plumbing and heating, including boiler breakdowns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a professional, customer – focused approach.
