About the Role
As a Delegate Sales Executive, you will be responsible for researching, contacting and engaging senior industry professionals and inviting them to attend our exclusive events. You will use telephone outreach, email, LinkedIn and our CRM system to build targeted campaigns, generate interest, communicate the value of attending and qualify delegates for relevant event programmes.
This is a target-driven role suited to someone confident, commercially minded and motivated by success. You will play an important part in delivering high-quality attendance across our portfolio, helping us create exceptional event experiences for senior decision-makers and supplier partners.
Key Responsibilities
· Research target markets and identify relevant senior decision-makers for each assigned event.
· Contact prospective delegates by phone, email and social media to introduce the event and explain the value of attending.
· Qualify delegates against agreed criteria to ensure the right audience attends each Forum or Summit.
· Build and manage a strong pipeline of delegate prospects, maintaining accurate records within the CRM system.
· Work towards and exceed agreed targets, KPIs and event attendance objectives.
· Develop a strong understanding of assigned sectors, event propositions and audience profiles.
· Support the day-to-day administration and delivery of delegate campaigns for assigned events.
· Provide weekly progress updates, sales reports and market feedback to the Event Manager and senior leadership team.
· Maintain regular contact with confirmed delegates, ensuring all updates are recorded and communication remains professional and timely.
· Identify opportunities, risks or challenges early and escalate them where appropriate.
· Attend events when required, representing the business professionally and supporting the wider team on-site.
About You
· Confident communicating with senior professionals, including C-level decision-makers.
· Commercially aware, curious and confident researching new sectors, companies and contacts.
· Money motivated, target driven and energised by working in a fast-paced sales environment.
· Highly organised, able to manage your own workload and prioritise activity effectively.
· Positive, resilient and willing to learn quickly, develop new skills and take feedback on board.
· Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook, CRM systems, email platforms and social media tools such as LinkedIn.
Working Pattern
Contracted hours are 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday. This is a hybrid role based from our Hertford office, with home-working on Mondays and Fridays and office-based days on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
