Excell Supply is recruiting experienced and dedicated Welsh Speaking Higher Level Learning Support Assistants to work in a range of welcoming secondary schools across Ruthin and the surrounding Denbighshire area.

The Role
As a Welsh Speaking Higher Level Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide high-quality classroom support across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Deliver learning activities to individuals, small groups or whole classes under the direction of the class teacher.
- Provide cover for lessons where appropriate and support the delivery of the curriculum.
- Work closely with teachers to plan, prepare and adapt learning resources.
- Support students with a range of additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Communicate confidently in both Welsh and English throughout the school day.
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and independence.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and support the overall learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be fluent in Welsh and English.
- Hold a relevant HLTA or Higher Level Learning Support Assistant qualification, or have equivalent experience.
- Have experience supporting students within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Be confident leading learning activities and supporting whole-class teaching when required.
- Be patient, adaptable and passionate about helping young people succeed.
- Be flexible, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
