The Fat Pizza Coventry is looking for a reliable, hardworking Pizza Shop Team Member to join our busy team.
This is a hands-on, permanent full-time role with 30+ hours each week and regular opportunities for additional hours. You will receive full training across every area of the shop and will play an important part in keeping service quick, accurate and welcoming.
What you’ll do
- Prepare pizzas and other menu items to a high standard
- Make and prepare fresh dough
- Take customer orders and serve customers on the till
- Package and check orders accurately before collection or delivery
- Monitor incoming orders and keep service running efficiently
- Manage several orders calmly during busy periods
- Complete stock takes and help prepare supplier orders
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety and cleaning standards
- Communicate with delivery drivers and help manage deliveries
- Take responsibility for the shop when required

Previous experience in a takeaway, pizza shop, restaurant or another fast-paced food business is preferred, but full training will be provided to the right person.
Hours and pay
- £12.71 per hour
- 30+ hours per week
- Additional hours may be available, sometimes up to 50–60 hours per week, depending on business needs, performance and staff cover. Additional hours are not guaranteed.
- Permanent, full-time position
