Location: 365 Bargains Burton on Trent
Hours: Part-time – Ranging from 10-20 hours per week
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and customer-focused Assistant Key Holder to join our retail team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and is confident taking responsibility when required.
As an Assistant Key Holder, you will support the Store Manager and wider team with the day-to-day running of the shop, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly and customers receive a great experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with their purchases
- Support the Store Manager with the daily running of the shop
- Open and close the store when required
- Take responsibility for the shop and team during designated shifts
- Handle cash and complete end-of-day procedures accurately
- Replenish stock and maintain high visual merchandising standards
- Keep the shop clean, tidy and well presented
- Support with deliveries, stock management and stock checks
- Help motivate and support other team members
- Deal confidently with customer queries and resolve issues professionally
- Follow company policies, security procedures and health & safety guidelines
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
-Ideally candidated must be ober the age of 21
- Friendly, approachable and confident
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Comfortable taking responsibility and working independently
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- Organised and able to prioritise tasks
- Confident handling cash and following procedures
- Flexible to work weekends and additional hours when required
- Previous retail or key-holder experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided
