Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to maintain hygiene standards
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and cleaning materials as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, and other fixtures
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor promptly
- Adhere to organisational policies regarding cleaning protocols and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines diligently
