Joice and Hill Poultry is part of the leading multi-species breeding company Hendrix Genetics, distributing their world class laying hen breeds across UK and Eire. Based in Peterborough and with breeding farms across East Anglia, Joice and Hill Poultry currently deliver one third of the country’s day-old chicks destined for egg production. This includes Bovans Brown, Shaver Brown and Dekalb White.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Managing Director and forming part of the management team, the role is suited to an experienced sales professional with experience in poultry and technical sales.
The sales team you will lead focuses on supporting repeat business with customer relationship management and technical service. This includes working closely with other supply chain partners such as packers, pullet rearers, feed companies and veterinary colleagues.
The successful candidate will be a people-focused professional, able to support our team of area technical sales managers, whilst delivering on responsive customer care and value selling. Travel, including within Europe and overnight stays, are an expected part of the role.
