About Artifact Lighting:
Artifact Lighting is a small, independent lighting company based on the South Coast of England. We design and handcraft lighting that celebrates timeless design, natural materials and British craftsmanship.
From our Dorset workshop, we handcraft lighting for homes, interior designers, retailers and commercial projects across the UK and Europe. As a growing business, we're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enthusiastic to become an integral part of our close-knit team.
About the Role
This is a varied role that combines sales, marketing, customer service and day-to-day business support. We're looking for someone who enjoys working across different areas of the business and takes pride in delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to customer enquiries via email and supporting customers throughout their buying journey.
- Follow up on quotations, trade enquiries and retailer communications.
- Maintain strong relationships with our network of stockists and trade partners.
- Carry out general administrative tasks and support the smooth running of the business.
- Assist with scheduling, prioritising workloads and managing multiple projects.
- Support product photography, studio organisation and content creation when required.
- Work closely with the Commercial Manager across sales, marketing and business operations.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
Desirable Skills
Whilst not essential, we'd love to hear from candidates with experience in:
- E-commerce, Social Media and Email Marketing (Shopify, Kylavio)
- Graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite or Figma).
- Copywriting
- Previous experience in a customer service, interior design or luxury retail
