Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Logistics & Warehouse Operative (with forklift driving) capabilities to join our busy warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock, handling materials, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse processes. The position is paid and suitable for those looking to develop their skills in logistics and warehousing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics & Delivery Coordination:
- Plan daily delivery routes efficiently for each van (Route planning for each van).
- Perform multi-drop deliveries and safely transfer goods between key locations, specifically from Leyton to U49 (Goods transfer from Leyton to U49, Delivery).
Warehouse & Stock Operations:
- Safely operate Forklift and Reach Trucks to move, stack, and organise heavy inventory (Forklift & Reach Truck driver).
- Load and unload delivery vehicles/vans securely and efficiently (Loading & Unloading).
- Process and manage stock returns or transfer items arriving from various retail shops (Handle returned/transfer items from shops).
General Duties:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations regarding vehicle operation and manual handling.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year warehouse experience.
- Able to do picking, packing, and manual lifting as part of the job.
- Licenses: Valid UK Driving License (Clean) AND Valid Forklift / Reach Truck certificates.
- Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations, stock handling, and multi-site delivery driving. (at least 1 year of experience).
- Skills: Good geographical knowledge for route planning, basic tech/system skills to log transfers, and physical fitness for loading/unloading.
Education & Qualifications:
- Must have completed secondary school or higher education (UK or equivalent)Work Location:

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 07.30 AM - 4.30 PM.
Salary & Contract:
- Pay: £13.00 per hour.
- Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
- Job Type: Full-time, Fixed-term contract (3 months).
