We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised and supporter-focused Events & Community Fundraising Officer to play a key role in delivering exceptional fundraising experiences for our incredible supporters. Working across some of our flagship fundraising activities, you'll help inspire people to raise more, stay motivated and feel connected to our cause every step of the way.
Whether they're running the London Landmarks Half Marathon, taking on the Hackney Half, joining one of our virtual challenges or organising their own fundraising activity, you'll be there to provide outstanding stewardship and support.
What you'll be doing
As part of our passionate Fundraising team, you'll:
- Create engaging supporter journeys that inspire fundraising success.
- Build meaningful relationships with supporters through personalised communications.
- Coordinate stewardship across email, SMS, WhatsApp and other digital channels.
- Be the first point of contact for Event & Community Fundraising enquiries.
- Support the delivery of high-profile fundraising events and campaigns.
- Maintain accurate supporter records through CRM and fundraising platforms.
- Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and income.
- Recruit and coordinate volunteers for event-day activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Fundraising, Digital, Brand and Communications.
About you
We're looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about delivering exceptional supporter experiences
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
- Experienced in supporter stewardship, fundraising, customer service or engagement roles
- A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Comfortable using CRM systems and digital communication tools
- Detail-oriented, data-conscious and committed to delivering high-quality work
- Collaborative and relationship-focused
- Committed to equality, diversity and inclusion
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience in charity fundraising or the mental health sector.
- Experience with mass participation events, challenge events or community fundraising.
- Knowledge of fundraising platforms such as Funraising.
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM systems.
- Experience creating supporter communications across email, SMS or WhatsApp.
