The role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Planner & Scheduler to provide essential administrative and operational support within our Compliance Team at Omega Red Group.
Acting as the link between our engineers, customers, suppliers and internal teams, you'll manage schedules, resolve operational challenges and help keep our field operations running smoothly.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in planning, scheduling, service coordination or administration who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives on organisation and problem-solving..
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and optimise engineer schedules across the UK, ensuring inspections, testing, maintenance, repairs, and installation works are delivered efficiently and on time.

Act as the central point of contact between engineers, customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Proactively manage daily workloads, responding quickly to schedule changes, urgent requests, and operational challenges.

Liaise with customers to arrange appointments, confirm attendance, and provide timely updates on planned works.

Support the deployment of field-based engineers by ensuring they have the resources, information, and equipment required to complete work safely and effectively.

Monitor work schedules and project progress, identifying potential delays and implementing solutions to minimise disruptions.

Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and specialist equipment to support planned activities.

Maintain accurate job, customer, and scheduling records across company systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance requirements are met.

Work closely with operational and compliance teams to maximise engineer utilisation and resource efficiency

Provide first-line support for engineer queries, helping to resolve scheduling and logistical issues in a timely manner.

Generate and maintain planning reports, performance data, and operational updates to support business decision-making.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance planning processes, customer service, and operational performance.
What You’ll Need

Experience in planning, scheduling, coordination, customer service or administration

Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT systems

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and engineers

Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
